Waubonsee Community College Foundation Board Welcomes New Member

The Waubonsee Community College Foundation approved Kaleshia “Kay” Page to join its board of directors at the board’s meeting on September 15. Page will attend her first board meeting on December 1.

Page is a government and regulatory affairs manager in the telecommunications industry. In this role she negotiates with more than 50 cities and villages on behalf of the company. She leads government and community relations in these communities to create partnerships and collaborations that serve the company, the communities, civic organizations, and their shared constituents.

Prior to this role, she has worked in the Illinois Governor’s Office and in the office of Senator Barack Obama, before he was elected president. Page serves as a trustee in the Village of Woodridge and on the boards of the Quad County Urban League, Mutual Ground, and Hope’s Front Door. She is also the President of the Democratic Women of DuPage County.

Page earned an undergraduate degree from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Vanderbilt University.
